Life in Perth

15-2---the day after Valentine's~

phew, i'm in Perth for a whole week already. Things still going smoothly here, my flatmates are good person~ Hurray~ They are Steven from Swiss, Jason from Singapore, Rebacca from Zimbabwe and Dhiz from Sri Lanka. All of them are nice person, we go shopping together, cook good stuff and laugh a lot together.

Firstly, when I'm doing this all by myself, boarding the plane, get down from the plane, get my god damn heavy luggage, immigration(phew, it was tiring and exciting as well=.='''), get on the shuttle bus service organize by the University. Phew, luckily I got on the shuttle that day, it was 5pm and everything is going down and shops are closing in Perth. As last, I've got to the hotel and settled down. I phoned to my father's sister's husband's brother's, actually...he's my uncle in living in Perth...haha...he came to my hotel and brought me to his house. I've get to know my cousins, they are Alan, Peter and Ivan. Alan brought me to a tour in the city and in the neighbourhood area as well. He told me a lot of local stuff, how people's life is about, the actual local community life and where to get the groceries. Uncel Philip took me to the local market as well, when they mean CHEAP, it's really that cheap, a whole caton of apples only costed 3 aussie doller, really cheap yea? I've spent 3 days in uncle's house, he took care of me, and I've really got a delighted time there. Thanks uncle Philip and Alan~

The next day after I've arrived to Perth, I checked into my flat and I found out that my roommate was not there yet, so I become a king in my room for just a few days=.='''. Dhiz is my flatmate, he was here before I had come, he's taking a biomedical sceince course as well but he's already in the third year, which is the last year. It's great to have a senior living in the same flat, haha, how lucky I am. Then after a few days, Steven, Bex, Jason came and finally our flat got fully occupied. The Phat 5! The accommodation here is interesting, we 5 have our very own kitchen and two toilets, each has their own room except me and Jason sharing a double room. The first dinner among all of us was prepared by Steven, he cooked a delicious pasta for all of us, it was nice. And I made the second dishes for us, I fried a tuna fried rice and a tuna eggs(omelette) for our dinner, they said it was nice~ haha~

There come an interesting girl who live in the opposite flat, she doesn't like her flatmates that much so she kinda mixing around with us. She came from Adelaide, and she had never been to Perth before in her life. She's a very talkative girl and provide entertainment for all of us, it was nice talking with her around, even the mighty Steven could not stand her, he got beaten. She had a boyfriend back in Adelaide and when she narrated her life with her boyfriend, we all went crazy, that was sweet~ just like mine, haha~:b On the valentine's night, we gone out to buy ice-cream at the petrol station nearby, it was cold yesterday night and we still managed to finished the ice-cream on our way back. The coolest thing, we've just managed to get access to the internet free by using the wireless network that some other people applied for a few flats away~ Good stuff, we don't need to pay for that internet quota thing~ haha~ cheers~ Very happy to gain access to the internet so that I can meet dear online using the webcam~ On valentine's day~I was so happy to see her in face, even we're distance apart...^.^

Besides knowing these interesting people, I've also met all sorts of people all over the globe. They are all friendly and easy-going, I felt lucky that I've got to know these people here in the Murdoch Student Village. Making friends is easy here, you just have to have the guts to talk and the friendly smile as well.

Next week I'll be starting my university life, although the timetable seems a little bit too tight, but I hope I'll enjoy them as well. Things have to be done by yourself once you're here, everything depends on ourselves here, be INDEPENDENT~

I hope things are going fine too in JB, I hope everyone and my brother there are doing good. Happy Chinese New Year to everyone, it must be very high in JB, it's about to NEW YEAR~
