So Far So Good

2010 has reached its 12th day and everything's been just great for me
The pace of life has been just fine, not so busy but not so boring as well
Gathering, gathering and more gathering...
There's no better feeling that to see the familiar faces that you've missed for so long again

And to continue the unfinished topics that we've last 38 about~
Although we talked nonsense and LOL all the time, the feeling is just indescribable, in a good way
It's like we have our own unique way of telling jokes and nobody else but us understand the fun

You just can't teach the implicit recognitions between us, you just need to go thru' the same stuff that we went thru' before, or simply experience the experiencesss...

As I typed, I would still try to lift my right hand and correct the glasses that used to be there for the last 10 years but not anymore
Just did an intraLasik surgery two weeks ago and now I'm officially spectacles-free!
Now I no longer need to worry about displaced contact lens while playing basketball after the impact
Nor the feeling of practically blind while taking bath or waking up in the morning
NO you won't feel a thing during the surgery even if you're wide awake!

Well, back to the topics we all had during the gatherings
Yes we do still talk about something serious and matters
At this age, 21-22, we talked about the future and marriages
I see happy faces, hungry faces, worried faces and also believe-in-fate faces
It reminded me of what Neo said in 'The Matrix'

Morpheous once asked Neo if he believes in fate
Neo answered No
"Why?"
"Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my own life"

Yea...it sounds convincing but on the other hand
Don't we need some unexpected elements to spice up our life for a little bit?
I always think a life with happy surprises is an enjoyable life
When it comes to something that I just couldn't be definite, I give way to fate
Just need to embrace life and let fate do the rest

Who knows?
The girl sitting beside you today might be your wife in 5 years' time
The gentleman standing beside you in the train today might be your boss in the future......

When you asked, don't you want to be loved?
Why not? Who doesn't?
But I believe in fate......and I have faith......

p.s. I wanna play basketball SOOOOO MUCHHHHH!!!!! (still need to wait till feb)
