A blog doesn't have to be loooooooong

People helping people

I heard this gentleman said:
"no obligation whatsoever mate"

Yes, no obligation & no prior friendships needed for me to help you

*Clap clap*
There's love everywhere, you just have to open your eyes and observe

Little big ants

ANT
An insect that often give us an impression of hardworking, cooperative and disciplined
And quite often, they're known to be 'dead easily'
Ants have little or almost no control over their life
With just a pinch, you could kill several ants in a go
Life is that fragile
For an ant
And for you and me as well

Have you ever seen a half-dead ant trying to crawl out of danger instead of stopping on the spot and give up?
Yes, I've seen, unless it's dead, it'll still crawl, until its very last breath
How are we any different with the ants?

Do we have much control over our own life? (Dead or Alive)
I doubt so...
We're just as fragile as the ants
We have very little control
Something which is way smaller than an ant, could kill us easily
And do we have clear choices to choose from?
No, we don't

Imagine that you're walking along the streets
Look at the faces of people walking past
What do you see?
What do you see inside of them?
I bet you can't see much, do you?
Me too
Until you get to know them, until they tell you the truth, you'll never know what's inside
Been exposed to this topic, HIV & AIDS for the past few days
And having people with HIV positive coming in to share
Is definitely an experience more than inspiring

Yes, HIV is something smaller than an ant, and yet it's something that could kill you
Are we vulnerable?
Very much so I guess
It's a human life that we're talking about, a life full of memories and love
Taking away any life is heart-breaking
And yet, there's only so much we could do, only to minimise our chances, and we couldn't do anything to avoid it, AT ALL

And god damn social stigma and selfishness of the society have already got a huge wall built up before even people get to explain themselves or even just to get some understanding

HIV does not spread that easily, a hug will not make you sick
A conversation wouldn't hurt your life
And yes, the burden of having to cope with the social stigma and discrimination is just as heavy as coping with the physical abuse of the disease itself
No kidding. Psychotic issues are always treated lightly and people are being discriminated constantly.

People give up relationships
People give up social life
People give up their jobs
People give up their dreams
People just want to live longer and trying to give more hope to people like themselves
Why don't we give them some platform to do so?
Why don't we start educating our children now?
Why don't we start telling people that it's fine, we're a big family?
Why do we always have to categorise people?

What do we get from doing so?

Imagine you're gonna live your life like that...
Going to bed 8 at night, 'cause sleeping late will depress your immune system
Having to take 10-20 pills per day
Coping with different kinda pains every single day of your life
Living your life knowing that there's no guarantee for tomorrow
Giving up intimate relationships for the rest of your life, 'cause you'll just get tired of looking for the one who really loves you regardless

How strong someone needs to be to cope with this kinda life?

And yet, we're still complaining of how our life sucks, while people struggling every single day just to stay alive and jus to have another gulp of air.
I love you, you love me, love can spread with just a single raise of eyebrows, together with a smile

I remembered last night, there's a kid who hurt his knee, having to sit on the bench and hold an ice pack on his injured knee
I looked at him, he looked at me, I nodded as if I was asking 'Are you ok?'
And he nodded back as if he was saying 'I'm ok'
And bang, the next thing I know, he's back on the court again
I do think that kids take pain better than adults sometime
All they need is some motivation and a pat on the back
Why wouldn't we give it to them sometimes?
I've always thought that kids are the future of our world
If we desire a better place, they're the one that is gonna make the difference
No doubt, I love kids and I'm always happy to be around one
They give you their heart so easily, and this trust that they show you, just give you an abrupt feeling of happiness and hope

I guess, ants need some pat on the back too sometimes?
Learn to look beyond, world's a better place~
